What You’ll Learn

King Jesus University’s Associate of Ministry is a 100% online program that can formally prepare you for various supporting roles in churches or Christian ministries. It emphasizes a solid biblical foundation, training in the practical aspects of ministry, and the demonstration of the power of God. You will be taught by faculty with both solid academic preparation as well as real world ministerial experience. Full-time students typically complete this program within two years. Your completion time may vary depending on the number of courses you choose to take per trimester.

Our core values are at the heart of all that we do.

I am a pastor in Utah and a graduate of KJU. Through the impartation and knowledge received in the classes and from the teachers, I have been able to establish a bible institute in Utah. We then expanded to Colorado, Idaho, Arizona, and will soon open another institute in Mexico. We have received many great testimonies of what God has done in the lives of the people in restoring individuals, marriages, and families, as well as even pastors and their congregations. Also, there are testimonies of people receiving vision to open and expand their own businesses. We have also raised up teachers in each of those institutes to teach the supernatural power of God and impart what we have received to others.

The decision to attend KJU in Miami changed the trajectory of my life for the better. At KJU, I encountered the God of miracles! After I graduated, I moved back home to Suffolk, VA and became the CEO of a premier home healthcare agency. Also, I was ordained and became a leader in my local church where I was given the responsibility to birth and equip an entire evangelism ministry. I knew I could do it because at KJU I was trained as an evangelist. At KJU, I received the insight and revelation to be able to train other evangelists, and our evangelism ministry is flourishing. This year, I am organizing our first regional miracle and healing crusade in our city, and I know we will see the power of God in action!

I want to testify that because of all the training I received at KJU, my faith has been strengthened and I have been formed and equipped in my political career. I have been a congresswoman for two terms and also president of my political party. I want to testify that because of all the training I received at KJU, I have had a supernatural career! I have seen God manifest Himself even in political situations which has given me access to places and things I would never have been able to get to before. I have even given prophetic words to diplomats! In an environment where so many turn to witches and sorcerers, the supernatural power of God is invading to expand the Kingdom in politics.

I am a student at King Jesus University. This university has impacted my life because of how much I have learned about the kingdom of God, and how to manifest it here on Earth. I have also learned much about how to use the gifts He has given me. Therefore, I have been able to use all that to serve here in my local ministry. Sick people have come to me for prayer and when I laid my hands on them, they felt the infections leave their bodies. There were even two people raised from the dead! I give God all the glory for the teaching on the Kingdom to impact and manifest the gifts of God and His supernatural power.

DEGREE PLAN FOR BACHELORS

The degree plan for Bachelor in Ministry is designed to prepare students to enter or lead in a Christian ministry, church, or parachurch organization. The programs have been designed with the goal of preparing students for Christian ministry.

DEGREE PLAN FOR MASTERS

The degree plan for the Masters in Ministry is designed with the objective of preparing students to support or lead a Christian ministry, church or ecclesiastical organization. This degree plan is for students who have completed the KJU Leveling Program.

Common questions

Who should apply?

USM is open to everyone who has a calling from God to the fivefold ministry: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher (Eph 4:11). In addition, study programs have been designed for those called to the worship ministry or to support these ministries.

How much does it cost?

KJU offers courses at a cost of $65/credit for Undergraduate and $85/credit for Graduate students. Courses may be 1, 2, or 3 credits each. Bachelor degrees are between 120 and 125 credits.

You may fill out the admission form at any time; there are no deadlines to apply. However, in order to begin classes, you must have been previously admitted.

How many semesters a year does KJU have?

KJU has three 12 week trimesters per year. (Spring, Summer and Fall) You can check out our yearly calendar on KJU.org to see when each trimester begins and ends.

How many weeks are in a trimester?

There are twelve weeks in a trimester.

Can I enroll in courses at any time?

Students may enroll in courses at any time during the enrollment period, which is two weeks long and starts one week prior to the beginning of each trimester. After that all enrollments are closed

Can I finish my classes whenever I want?

KJU has three trimesters a year, and every trimester has 12 weeks. You may complete your courses anytime within the trimester or 12 week period. Please note that you must finish before the trimester ends, by completing all homework and exams for each course on or before the last day of the trimester.

Are online classes given in real time?

All of our online classes are pre-recorded instead of being live or in real time. This makes it easier for students to accommodate their personal schedule, and not have to worry about getting to their computer to be in class at a certain time.

Does KJU have online classes?

Yes! We have online courses available for those that live outside of Miami, Florida.

What programs are available at KJU?

We offer Associate, Bachelor, Masters and they are all in Ministry. The degree plan for the Associates in Ministry Program is designed to train Christian workers to fully support existing or new ministries. Anyone interested in taking a lead position such as pastor or minister, rather than a supporting position in a ministry, should complete the Bachelors in Ministry Program.

Will I be ordained as a Pastor when I graduate from KJU?

At KJU you will be trained for whichever area of ministry you feel God calling you to serve in. However, at KJU we do not send anyone out into full time ministry or ordain them. We believe that a person’s calling is given by God and cannot be based on the amount of education or training that a person receives. Also, your calling should be confirmed by those that God has placed in authority over you, such as your Pastor, etc.

I feel called to a specific area in the body of Christ (Evangelist, Prophet, Pastor, etc). Do you have a specialized program for that specific area?

At this time we do not have specialized programs. When you apply to KJU you are applying to one of the three programs that we offer (Associates, Bachelors or Masters). Within the program you choose, there will be courses that touch on every aspect of ministry.
